For the protection of:

• closed circuit water heaters for drinking water and process water

according to TRD 721, DIN 4753 and DIN 1988 for temperatures up to max. 95°C.

The safety valve is installed in the cold water inlet of the hot water heater according to DIN 1988.

In the event of failure of the thermostatic control and limiting devices, the safety valve must blow off the entire heating output of the boiler in the form of hot water and steam. Due to the all-metal design, these safety valves can also be used at high ambient or radiant temperatures.

Safety valves are permanently set and lead-sealed at the factory.
